AXI IMMO advises Ekol Poland on lease 23,500 sq m in Panattoni Park Poznań VII
Ekol Poland with logistics processes for Regatta - a British outdoor clothing manufacturer.
Panattoni, market leader in industrial real estate in Europe, attracts omnichannel. Ekol Poland has rented 23,500 sqm in Panattoni Park Poznań VII, on which it will carry out logistics processes for the outdoor clothing producer – Regatta. The implemented operations will ensure integrated sales, both in the e-commerce channel and in stationery stores, as well as support wholesalers. The lease transaction was mediated by the real estate firm AXI IMMO.

Ekol Poland will occupy 11,500 sqm in Panattoni Park Poznań VII as of July this year and another 1,000 sqm of office space as of December this year. The logistics operator will serve one of the leaders in the outdoor clothing industry – the British company Regatta, which has been on the market for nearly 40 years. The enterprises see great potential in cooperation and appreciate the attractive location, which is why Ekol Poland immediately rented 23,500 sqm, and will use the remaining 11,000 sqm in July 2021. From here, the logistics operator, in accordance with the omnichannel strategy, will handle both stationery stores and Regatta wholesalers, as well as online sales channels in the European Union, Russia and Israel. Cooperation with a British company is an important element of Ekol Poland’s development, which has been operating since 2015, employing a total of 130 employees.

“Relocation to the new warehouse is a consequence of the client’s successful sales growth in the region. What also contributed to the decision was the developer’s flexible approach and good access to the network of expressways and highways. Poznan is a strategic location for companies aspiring to grow both in Poland and the rest of Europe”, comments Piotr Roszkowski, Industrial & Logistic Agency, AXI IMMO.
The signing of the lease agreement comments Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director from Panattoni: “From the beginning of our activity, we have been trying to provide our partners with the best possible conditions for further development of their business, both due to the time, availability and designation of the area, as well as its location. In the case of logistics operators, our offer also translates into the development of entities commissioning these operations. That is why I am pleased to sign the contract with Ekol Poland, which by renting 23,500 sqm in our Poznań park, nearly half of the space secured for a planned expansion of Regatta. What is more it is our another project with Ekol Poland. In 2016, the operator rented the first space in Panattoni Park Poznań III, gradually increasing it to 9,200 sqm“.
Warehouse space close to A2 motorway
By choosing Panattoni Park Poznań VII, tenants gain a number of international and local benefits. Only 5 km from the complex runs the A2 motorway, which connects the capital of Wielkopolska with the most important cities of Central and Eastern Europe – Berlin and Warsaw, which lie about 3 hour’s drive from the park. In addition, it takes only 30 minutes to reach Poznań-Ławica International Airport from the logistics centre. Thanks to its location 12 km from the city centre and convenient transport connections, Panattoni Park Poznań VII allows easy access to employees, and the proximity of the S11 expressway allows efficient transport between Poznań and Bydgoszcz in the north as well as Katowice in the south.
Panattoni Park Poznań VII is a modern distribution centre, which, along with other investments of the company in the region, creates a huge warehouse and industrial space for the entire Poznań market. The park consists of 3 buildings with a total area of 87,000 sqm. The tenants of the complex benefit from advanced technical solutions ensuring the highest quality of warehouse space (class A), as well as functionality and flexibility in shaping modules. Tenants can use unloading docks, entrance gates from level “0” and spacious maneuvering yards. The investment is BREEAM-certified with no less than a GOOD rating.
