AXI IMMO stays at Spektrum Tower in Warsaw and expands its Katowice office
AXI IMMO has decided to extend two office space lease agreements in their current locations in Warsaw and Katowice.
AXI IMMO decided to renew its office leases in Warsaw and Katowice. The leased area in Warsaw has remained unchanged while the Silesian office at Muchowiec Active Park has been enlarged. Both venues have been modified in order to meet the strictest safety standards and accommodate a hybrid working model.
Warsaw – the Headquarters
Since June 2016, the AXI IMMO headquarters have been located on 18 Twarda street in Warsaw, at the Spektrum Tower building managed and owned by Globalworth. The office space has two entrances and comprises a mix of open plan and private rooms, as well as two spacious conference rooms. The layout has been designed in a way that stimulates creative thinking and spontaneous brain storming. Large windows with a view of Warsaw’s skyline ensure the right level of lighting. In every part of the office the colour scheme and visual elements are aligned with the company’s branding identity. In addition, striking art from the CEO’s collection, most of which have been acquired through fundraisers, add character to the space. Employees can make full use of the building’s facilities, including the restaurant, canteen, a medical centre and a modern 24/7 gym.
“The AXI IMMO headquarters are crucial for running and growing our business. This is where most teams are based and where most strategic decisions about the direction of the company are made Our comfortable and well-located office allows us to ensure harmony and a good working culture, and ultimately to create the right environment to achieve our goals. Over the past months, we managed to implement a hybrid working model for our employees, while at the same time keeping the current floorspace. The excellent location, high building standard and the business environment convinced us to renew the lease we signed 5 years ago. After this period we can say with confidence that this office is the true home of our organisation.” – says Renata Osiecka, Managing Partner, AXI IMMO.
Spektrum Tower is owned by Globalworth and offers over 32,000 sqm of office space across 28 floors. Occupiers have access to 314 car parking spaces as well as bicycle racks and changing rooms for cyclists. The convenient location in the city centre near the ONZ roundabout ensures easy commute by any mode of transport, including the second metro line. Spektrum Tower has a BREEAM Excellent certificate and is 100% powered by green energy from renewable sources.
“Spektrum Tower is not only one of the most important assets in our Polish portfolio. It is also an office building that we manage ourselves and where we ourselves have chosen to locate our Polish headquarters. It has everything that you can expect from a comfortable workplace, with an emphasis on an excellent location in the very centre of Warsaw and numerous amenities, such as access to an extensive public and road transport system and a rich retail offer in the vicinity. The very fact that a renowned consulting company from the commercial real estate market such as AXI IMMO has chosen Spektrum Tower for its headquarters and decided to extend the lease here is a testament to enduring attractiveness of our building on the Warsaw office market.” – comments Anna Korwin-Kulesza, Senior Leasing Manager at Globalworth Poland.
Silesia – Larger Office, New Opportunities
The Silesian office of AXI IMMO is our operational centre for the southern regions of Poland. Intense activity and very good transactional performance allowed us to expand our office space here, to a total of 120 sqm at the Muchowiec Active Park office building. This small-scale scheme is located nearby the Valley of Three Ponds park at the Muchowiec district in the centre of Katowice. Glass walls give the building a modern look and allow employees to admire the wooded green space outside. The Muchowiec Active Park also comprises a recreational airport and horse stables. In the future, it will also host an all-year tennis centre.
“Our Silesian office gives us a high level of visibility in the south of Poland, and allows us to stay in regular contact with the local business. As part of our growth strategy, we are expanding the scope of our competencies and services. The decision to expand the office in Katowice was a natural consequence of these plans, ensuring the AXI IMMO brand to continue to grow its pool of local experts.” – explains Anna Głowacz, Head of Industrial Agency and Head of the Katowice branch.
Safe Offices for the New Normality
“At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, offices in Warsaw and Katowice were modernised in order to ensure the right level of safety for employees, partners, customers and guests. Stations with sanitising liquid have been installed next to every entrance, together with signs reminding about mask wearing in parts of the building. We also separated working stations with barriers made of plexiglass. In order to manage the numbers of employees in the office, we introduced an electronic system for desk and conference room bookings. At the same time, the management decided to introduce a hybrid working model. New habits and preferences have not completely disappeared. In fact, we observe that both in Warsaw and Katowice, our employees are keen to visit the office regularly, in order to stay in regular contact with each other and to be able to discuss and exchange ideas.” – adds Joanna Kowalewska, Chief Operating Officer, AXI IMMO.
