Expeditors Polska, an international logistics service provider specialized in comprehensive solutions for supply chains, has signed a lease contract for over 5,000 sq m modern warehouse space in Hillwood & PHN Pruszków. AXI IMMO has represented the tenant in the transaction.

Over 5,100 m sqm of modern warehouse space and 180 sqm of office space in Hillwood & PHN Pruszków has been leased to Expeditors Polska. The newly leased warehouse space is part of the growth strategy of the American company in the European market. AXI IMMO consultants have represented the Client in the whole process of selection and lease of space.

A new warehouse for Expeditors Polska

Expeditors with headquartered in Seattle (USA) and has operations in 103 countries. The company employs over 17,00 people in 300 divisions. The company’s core competencies encompass international air, rail, maritime and road transport, as well as full customs services in own customs agency, storage and distribution. As a complement to its business Expeditors offers also orders management services, cargo insurance, transport of project cargo and consultancy in regard to the classification of goods and compliance.

Due to the dynamic development of the company in Poland there has been a need for a three-fold increase in warehouse and logistics space in relation to the space previously occupied. It was not easy to find a warehouse space  in particular due to specific requirements resulting from our specialization. Additionally, we wanted to combine our main cross-dock hub, temporary storage facility and customs warehouse.” – comments Marta Piechel, Managing Director, Management Board Member of Expeditors Polska sp. z o.o.

Cross-docking and high storage warehouse

The warehouse space occupied by Expeditors Poland will have a zone dedicated to the organization of an efficient trans-docking process in the cross-docking system and a part of the high-storage warehouse. In order to optimize the space, the tenant will use modern technological solutions and implement VNA system lorry. The integration of the cargo handling terminal and logistics warehouse will reduce the number of handling operations, which as an effect will allow increasing security of shipments and shortening the time of the execution of orders.

Mateusz Kurdek, who is responsible for the project and warehouse operations at Expeditors Polska,  announces that the new logistic hub in Pruszkow will be a friendly place for employees and drivers. Space will include, among others modern social space and comfortable waiting area for goods transport drivers.

 Hillwood & PHN Pruszków is located 3 km from „Pruszkow” (A2 motorway) and 20 km from the Warsaw city centre. It has an excellent location with major routes: the A2 motorway linking Warsaw – Poznan – Berlin, as well as access to the Warsaw Ring Road – S8 / S2. The project includes 4 buildings with a total area of 47,500 sq m, located on 22 hectares site.
