Finansing Centrum Kowale
Convenience Shopping Centre development in a fast-growing part of Tri-City
The investor of Centrum Kowale, Impress Sp. z o.o. limited partnership, has partnered with Powiślański Bank Spółdzielczy, associated in Bank Polski Spółdzielczości SA, for financing construction work. The contract is worth nearly PLN 30 million. The commercialisation of Centrum Kowale is being handled exclusively by AXI IMMO.
Centrum Kowale is a Convenience Shopping Centre development in a fast-growing part of Tri-City, among large housing estates and adjacent areas inhabited by about 40 000 people. The centre is being built on ul. Staropolska near the Tri-City S6 bypass, directly by the 221 highway. The Convenience Shopping Centre formula provides local inhabitants with the ability to do urgent, necessary shopping close to home. Currently, there is no option in the area to do shopping in one place.
The investor of Centrum Kowale is Impress Sp. o.o. a limited partnership, part of the Towarzystwo Inwestycyjne Investing SA group located in Gdansk. The credit agreement with Powiślański Bank Spółdzielczy, associated in Bank Polski Spółdzielczości SA, was signed in April this year. The contract is worth nearly PLN 30 million. The credit extended by the banks will ensure the completion of all construction work. The total cost of the investment is estimated at about PLN 34 million.
“During the implementation of large construction projects, one of the most important factors is its financial security. The credit agreement just signed is another factor in the success of Centrum Kowale investment, especially since the commercialisation of the site is enjoying a lot of interest from tenants. We are currently in talks with several representatives of well-known brands on the market. A big plus of the investment is the fast pace of construction, which has already exceeded 15%,” said Krzysztof Zaremba, managing director of Impress.
The commercialisation of the centre is being handled exclusively by AXI IMMO, an expert in a commercial real estate. Among the companies that have so far signed leases in Centrum Kowale are a Tesco hypermarket, a Ganesh restaurant, a Play customer service outlet, a PEPCO discount store, a Main Optic salon and a Kolporter outlet. Talks are underway with further tenants.
