SEGRO Industrial Park Wrocław with the second tenant
EGRO, a leading owner, asset manager and developer of modern business properties, has delivered to Specjał Group 4,500 sq m of warehouse and office space within SEGRO Industrial Park Wrocław.
Specjał is a second company which has moved to SEGRO’s first investment in Lower Silesia region, which started operation in the first quarter of 2013.
The space leased to Specjał Group is fully suited with the client’s needs in the field of warehousing and FMCG distribution. Specjał is already the second tenant who has established cooperation with SEGRO within Wrocław investment. The first phase of construction works was finished in March 2013 when new BTS unit of 7,000 sq m was commissioned to DPD Polska. The next phases of SEGRO Industrial Park Wrocław development may be realised with the short delivery period.
Zdzisław Wdowiak from Specjał Group underlines that the comprehensiveness of the developer’s offer and property’s perfect location have influenced on the cooperation decision: “Before the final decision we have conducted a profound analysis of potential locations which will enable us to the further development of our company. The decision to lease the warehouse space within SEGRO Industrial Park Wrocław was made due to the quality and comprehensiveness of developer’s services and perfect location of the investment. We are positive that the start of business activity in the new unit will result in the fulfilment of our goals and will support us in providing our clients with the services of highest quality.”
Specjał Group has been operating on Polish market for 23 years and its portfolio consists of brands from FMCG, medical, security and cleaning services sectors. Specjał Group is one of the leading FMCG companies in Poland. Since the start of its operation in Poland the company has systematically increased its reach which remains as one of the reasons of services and goods delivery network development countrywide.
„SEGRO’s strategy is based on delivering our clients the space fully compliant with their needs, situated in the best locations. The decision to cooperate with us within SEGRO Industrial Park Wrocław made by the next tenant proves also high demand for warehouse space in this part of Wrocław and high potential of investment’s development” – says Joanna Janiszewska, SEGRO’s Regional Director, Silesia.
SEGRO Industrial Park Wroclaw is the first facility being under construction by SEGRO in Lower Silesia Region. The project is a joint venture between SEGRO and Polish Real Estate Holding. The facility located in Bierutowska street in north-eastern part of Wroclaw on 10 ha land can eventually provide 40,000 sq m of modern flexible space. The new logistics centre is advantageously located close to Jan III Sobieski avenue, one of Wroclaw’s main arterial thoroughfares, and in the close proximity to the junction with the new by-pass of the city.
