Silverstone Polska Logistics Centre in Stryków
An international distributor of lightweight material handling equipment, Silverstone Polska, has decided to lease approximately 3,500 sqm of warehouse and office space at SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków. The tenant will move into the new warehouse park in Q1 2024. Silverstone Polska was represented in the transaction by Poland’s largest advisory firm, AXI IMMO.
Silverstone is one of Europe’s largest distributors of light equipment (pallet trucks, warehouse lifts, material handling vehicles). The company was founded in 1995 and still has its headquarters in Sweden. Silverstone Poland is one of 28 international franchises.
Maciej Mikołajczuk, Managing Director, Silverstone Polska, said: “The opening of the new logistics center is part of Silverstone Polska’s long-term development strategy on the domestic market. So far, we have been using an external warehouse. Still, growing interest and the need to increase the availability of our high-quality products have accelerated the process of having a warehouse for our use. We decided to cooperate with SEGRO because the prepared offer came closest to our expectations”.
Silverstone Poland will occupy 3,219 sqm of warehouse space, complementing a spacious 273 sqm office with social areas.
Jakub Wojtera, Senior Advisor, Industrial & Logistics, AXI IMMO, says: “With the development of the warehouse market in Poland, Stryków continues to be one of the main and most important locations where many tenants want to expand. With a large supply of manufacturing and logistics space, clients have ample opportunities to select modules to suit their needs almost immediately. In the case of the transaction involving Silverstone Polska, this factor, together with the developer’s strong commitment, was crucial. In addition, the space at SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków will serve as the client’s new headquarters”.
Waldemar Witczak, Regional Director, SEGRO, added: “We are pleased to support Silverstone Poland’s growth in the domestic market by providing the company with space to meet the growing interest and need to increase the availability of its high-quality products. We want to thank you for the confidence you have shown. We believe that Segro Logistics Park Stryków will meet Silverstone Polska’s expectations, and our cooperation will contribute to the company’s continued success.”
Segro Logistics Park Stryków is a modern A-class warehouse complex with a target area of about 400,000 sqm, located near Łódź. The offer of logistics and office modules, flexible in arrangement, meets the requirements of tenants from the manufacturing, storage, or distribution sectors. Clients interested in space, according to their requirements, have the option of BTS (build to suit) projects. The warehouse complex is located near the intersection of the two most important highways, A1 and A2, facilitating efficient distribution throughout Poland.
